Families Protecting Treasured Land for Future Generations to Enjoy

Together, we are conserving and restoring publicly important lands that support outstanding biodiversity, waterways, fisheries, recreational and educational opportunities, cultural sites, agricultural lands, and spectacular scenery.

I believe enrolling my 80 acre parcel under the HeadWaters Land Conservancy was the best contribution I could do to protect the enviroment and the future of my land. HeadWaters mission will benefit all those who enjoy the outdoors for generations to come. I can’t thank you enough.

Marguerite Gahagan Nature Preserve
Okay, we’re different. Most of the land owners with Headwaters easements are individuals with private lands. Marguerite left her land to the public as a preserve. Additional lands were acquired to make about 60 acres. The Gahagan Board want to make sure that the lands stayed in its natural state for forever. That’s a major part of our mission and that is why we are joined with Headwaters Conservancy. The preserve is in Roscommon.
