Discover MI Birds at Wakeley Lake

Fun for all ages, join HeadWaters Land Conservancy as we hike through a variety of habitats at Wakeley Lake Area east of Grayling. U.S. Forest Service biologist Phil Huber will be our guide as we look and listen for migrating and courting birds. Wakeley Lake is home to nesting pairs of loons and eagles, and late May is the perfect time to see newly arrived warblers and other songbirds.
